Simon Brinck is a Copenhagen based composer, musician and sound designer trained in both classical, electronic and film music, working within film, literature, podcasts, fine arts and theatre, as well as a guitarist in his own and other projects. Simon is working within many musical fields and with a wide range of musical expressions writing for both classical and improvising musicians, using electronics and software as well as playing and recording many musical instruments on his own.
He has made music for a play at The Royal Theatre in Copenhagen, an immersive sound installation at an exhibition about Vikings, a generative radio station, and released both electronic and electro acoustic albums among many other things.
Simon has an MA in Film Scoring at Syddansk Musikkonservatorium (2019-2021) as well as an MA called Nordic Master The Composing Musician (2015-2017) in composition and performance, with studies at Rhythmic Music Conservatory in Copenhagen, at NMH in Oslo and at HSM in Gothenburg.
He also has a BA in guitar from Rhythmic Music Conservatory (2014).
Simon has worked as an external teacher at Rhythmic Music Conservatory in Copenhagen.
